Vallé is part of Ôl, an ongoing series of paintings exploring landscape as a place of memory rather than representation. Emerging through successive layers of oil paint and mixed media, the work draws together fragments of remembered places, shifting light and geological forms to create a landscape that feels both familiar and undefined.
Rather than describing a specific location, Vallé invites the viewer to navigate an emotional terrain where traces of the natural world gradually surface through colour, texture and gesture. Layers are concealed and revealed over time, reflecting the way memories evolve—softening at their edges while retaining an enduring connection to place. Existing between abstraction and landscape, the painting offers space for quiet reflection and personal interpretation.
