Namche Bazaar, Everest Trail

Namche Bazaar, Everest Trail
Created from Peter Kettle’s original mixed-media collage, this limited edition print depicts Namche Bazaar, the mountain settlement at the heart of Nepal’s Khumbu region. Layers of paint, maps, collected ephemera and fragments gathered during the Everest Base Camp expedition build the village into the surrounding Himalayan landscape, recording a key point along the trail towards Everest.

About the Collection
The Japan Editions are created from Peter Kettle's original mixed-media paintings and collages, developed during months of travelling across Japan. Combining field sketches, collected printed materials, maps and observations from Tokyo, Kyoto and the Japanese Alps, each edition captures the colour, atmosphere and rhythm of place.
Print Quality
Each edition is professionally printed using archival pigment inks on museum-quality fine art paper to ensure exceptional colour accuracy, detail and longevity. Every print is individually inspected, signed and numbered by Peter Kettle before being carefully packaged for delivery.
Inspired by the electric streets of Shibuya after dark, this print is reproduced from Peter Kettle's original mixed-media painting, created using collected maps, tickets, printed ephemera and field sketches gathered while travelling across Japan. Layering collage with paint, it captures the colour, rhythm and visual energy of Tokyo's iconic entertainment district.
