Evening settles over the Nithi River on the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya.
Painted from studies gathered while trekking through the mountain, the work captures the river beneath dense vegetation as the last warmth of the day catches the surrounding trees and rocks. Broken passages of ochre, turquoise and deep green trace the shifting light along the water.
