Painted following fieldwork on Mount Kenya, Nightfall at Lake Ellis, Beneath Kĩrĩnyaga recalls the landscape as daylight disappears across the high plateau.

Layers of deep blue, turquoise and broken earth tones dissolve the mountain into fragments of colour and texture, capturing the atmosphere and memory of the landscape rather than a literal view..
